When will Spike ever learn? Spike is a big, purple beetle that seems to work too hard at trying to find easy ways out of everything. Along the way, he often "bends" the rules a little in the process. The trouble is it seems that usually he winds up paying the price for his bad behavior. He always gets what he deserves. Too bad because he's bigger than most of Wally's other friends and just as smart, if not smarter. Spike is just lazy. Everything seems to need more effort than he is willing to give. But Wally can find good things even in Spike. Someday, Wally hopes, Spike will realize that he is only hurting himself and get over his laziness. |
